The Outfit Entertainment is committed to working with communities to create a better world for tomorrow. Some of the ways we help give back are outlined below:
- Promote Responsibility: Responsibility means doing the right thing or making the best possible choices in order to impact the community in a positive way. We wish to inspire individuals& businesses to understand that we all have a shared responsibility to the community, the consumers, and to each other.
- Inspire Pride: The sense of pride has long been a missing component from our communities. We must instill pride that is enriched by a robust network of residents, schools, public officials, businesses and churches interacting to maintain a vibrant community. This also means taking pride in the way that our neighborhoods look by initiating, supporting and facilitating cleanup efforts.
-
Build Awareness: The often used phrase “Knowledge is Power” rings true here. Awarenessallows us to identify the apathy, fiscal irresponsibility, and detrimental health issues thatcontinue to plague our communities. With awareness of our shared pitfalls, together we canrise up to build thriving communities.
- Encourage Unity: Unfortunately, today’s inner city communities are seldom unified. Repairing the societal ills that trouble most of them requires the return of the “village” mentality in which residents, businesses, churches, along with law enforcement, understand that we all have a shared stake in the neighborhood’s prosperity, growth, development and safety.
- Empower Communities: We want to find ways for the community as a whole to have access toinformation so that we can make sound ethical, fiscal and health choices in our everyday lives that uplift us and move us in a positive direction.
- Extend Appreciation: Often times we as small business owners forget to invest back into the community to show appreciation for their support and patronage. Conversely, residents sometimes forget to express gratitude to local businesses for the services that they provide. We strive to show both residents and businesses that we have a vested interest in each other through our common connections.
